The normal route to climb mount Ama Dablam is from its South- West ridge. Most of the mountaineering beginners start their climbing through this Mount. Ama Dablam is a small snowcapped peak of 6812m lying in Everest Region. Mountaineers usually have to pitch 3 high camps on the mountain of mount Ama Dablam 6812m.

The first camp is toughest and difficult as climbers have to pass through difficult saddle ridges; and then should turn to the north climbing up through the rocky ground and through the boulder. Furthermore, the climbing route from Camp II mostly followsthe steep mixed alleyways of rock, ice and snow which leads  to the slope climb to snow ground and then passes through steep snow and ice tunnel and finally along the snow ridge go to Camp II.Similarly, one can have the spectacular view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Island Peak, Makalu, Khumbu Himalayan and rest of the mountains from the top of Ama Dablam.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel
    Upon arrival on Kathmandu, Duke Nepal Adventure representative will receive you and transfer you to the Hotel. Later our representative will brief you about your upcoming Annapurna Base Camp Trek and will introduce to our trekking team. Duke Nepal Adventure will host an evening dinner at one of the finest local restaurant with music and ethnic dance. Overnight at Kathmandu
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu, official procedure and necessary Day 3:arrangements
    This full day sightseeing trip will combine various monuments, cultural and Heritage site within the valley- Boudhanath an Buddhist stupa, Pashupatinath an Hindu Temple, Patan durbar square, Swoyambunath, an Buddhist and Hindu Shrine, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka Museum and Kumari (virgin) living goddess temple.
  • Day 3 : Kathmandu
