Mardi Himal trek is newly preferred route in Annapurna region. The trail kicks off from the natural wonders Pokhara after beautiful sightseeing and wonderful boating in Fewa lake. Similarly,the trail is really lonely trail having the pine, Juniper and rhododendron dense forests.  The trail follows through the lovely rice terrace, unique culture villages as well as spectacular Mardi Himal. Most of all, the trekking offers you spectacular and magnificent Himalayan scenery of many mountains of Annapurna region i.e Mt. Dhauglagiri, Mt. Annapurna Ranges, Mt.  Hiunchuli, Mt. Fish tail (Machhapuchhare) etc.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu
    Our representatives will meet you at airport and transfer as preferred hotel & Refreshment. We will brief you about your whole trips with experience guide. You can ask your confusion and other question regarding your trip.
  • Day 2 : Full day Kathmandu Cultural Tour
    This full day sightseeing trip will combine various monuments, cultural and Heritage site within the valley- Boudhanath an Buddhist stupa, Pashupatinath an Hindu Temple, Patan durbar square, Swoyambunath, an Buddhist and Hindu Shrine, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka Museum and Kumari (virgin) living goddess temple.
  • Day 3 : Flight or Drive to Pokhara and Half day Sightseeing
    After having your breakfast, we will drive you to Pokhara. Or if you wish you can take a Tourist bus to Pokhara from different modes of transportation. In the evening, a boating trip will be in Phewa Lake as refreshment and welcoming of Pokhara tour. Overnight stay at hotel.
  • Day 4 : Full day Pokhara Sightseeing
    Early morning visit Sarangkot Sunrise tour and back to hotel and afternoon excursion around the valley. The sightseeing trip includes visits to all these exotic places. Phewa Lake is the center of all attraction it is the largest and most enchanting of three lakes. The eastern shore, popularly known as Lakeside or Baidam, is the favorite haunt of all travelers’ restaurants, handicraft shops and other facilities are located. There are so many temples/ Monasteries and other religious cultural places to visit in Pokhara. You can explore there so many cultural treasures with our culturally expert guide.
  • Day 5 : Pokhara to Dhampus
    We will drive 30 minutes towards Phedi from Pokhara. The start of the trail heads up the hill on a set of steps across the road. The area is inhabited by Brahmins, Chhetris and few Gurungs. Crossing the dirt road a couple of times and stone staircases makes the trail more adventuring. The spectacular panoramic view of Annapurna Himalayan range makes your overnight camping much greater.
  • Day 6 : Dhampus to Forest Camp
    It’s all about 6 hours trekking. The trek includes an enchanted forest of maple, birch, mountain oak, giant rhododendron, hemlock, and Daphnia. We all overnight camping here and can go to relaxation after a long duke adventure.
  • Day 7 : Forest Camp to Low camp
    In this trek, the flora has turned to classic 'cloud forest' with mosses and lichen, tree ferns and orchids hosted by the hardier trees.
  • Day 8 : Low Camp to High Camp
    After the breakfast, we will start our trekking to reach the destination. If weather is good, we could trek up to 15,000/16,000 ft. The view we capture the d ay will be unforgettable. We will come back to our camp in the evening.
  • Day 9 : Rest day at High Camp
    The day will be our rest day after 7 days tired trekking/walking . But still you can explore so many things near our camp.
  • Day 10 : High Camp to Siding Village
    After breakfast, Journey is started an slow tumble side by side of the forest and out on to the terraced fields. Here, we make our way along the banks of the Mardi Khola from the hill-side village of Siding.
  • Day 11 : Siding Village to Pokhara
    After a short walk now the trail skirts an outcrop- there's the road and transport. We will be back to Pokhara by the lunch. You're free here to feel the moderate climate and sceneries of this Magic land or Dream Land of Nepal. Explore the various interesting places like Mahendra Cave, David's fall and the various lakes of course.
  • Day 12 : Pokhara to Kathmandu, Take a 25 minutes flight or 6/7 hour Drive
    You can take a flight or drive by tourist bus/Private car to Kathmandu. At the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying the Nepali cultural dinner show, taking some beautiful snaps and making up your mind for the returning journey. You can have a greetings exchanging among friends and with all Nepalese people.Farewell Dinner for the guest will be hosted by Duke Nepal Adventure in one of the finest Nepali typical restaurant in Kathmandu.
  • Day 13 : Feedback collection and Final Departure
    Duke Nepal Adventure Representative will assist you to transfer to airport. Departure .onward Journey to home.
